Legion of Honor

The Midian Shrine Center Legion of Honor was organized in 1958 and is one of the oldest units of the Midian Shrine Center. The Legion of Honor is composed of veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces. Our Objectives:

  • To provide a Midian Shrine Center unit to accommodate all eligible active and former military members of the Armed Forces who are members of a Shrine Center in good standing.
  •  To perpetuate the memory of our Comrades-in-Arms, who made the supreme sacrifice by giving their lives for their country, while members of the Armed Forces.
  •  To foster a spirit of Patriotism, Love of Country and Flag.

 

Requirements:

  1. Honorable discharge from active duty (per copy of their DD-214) under honorable conditions
    or satisfactory Certificate of Honorable Service from his last service from the
    Armed Forces or produce documentation that he is presently serving honorably
    in the Armed Forces of the United States at the time of application.
  2. Must be a member is good standing in Midian Shrine Center.

 

Dues:

$15.00 Annually – $25.00 Initial Initiation fee which includes the Legion of Honor Medallion.

 

Meetings:

2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:30 pm in the Mecca Room at Midian Shrine Center.
